Transcript: If you asked me at the start, I don't think I could have ever dreamed up all the places this journey would end up taking us. I don't know what I expected to happen. I don't know if I really even thought about it that much; we just set out because we were compelled to. And that changed the course of all things. For we are the universe, and the universe is us. And thus, the motions we set forth cast ripples outward in space and time. Our decisions enacted our visions at every step, with no idea where we would ultimately be led along these paths, but with every hope that our dreams would enrich our shared universe. Let me introduce you to a journey that starts right here with you, me, and our minds. I invite you into the depths of existence, where the truths revealed cannot be unseen, for knowledge is intractable. In the vast nothingness we venture into, the endless expanse of possibilities unfolds before us, and we can begin to extract untold futures from our imaginations. So what are we doing here? And not in an abstract sense, but in a very real way. I'm not asking what you want to be, and I don't care if you've assigned some purpose to life. All I care about, all I want you to think about right now, is "what are we using our time for?". And when I say we, I mean us human beings, bits of the universe aware of itself. We are the universe. And as the universe, what are we doing here? What is this existence? What even is the universe doing here? Why is there something rather than nothing? Why are we privileged with the ability to experience? And as self-aware chunks of that existence, what do we want to do with the time we are afforded? Let's strip away everything else. Let us dig deeper away from the comfort of our daily motions to uncover the most interesting of questions. In these depths, you may find your path to freedom, because if you look hard enough, the fabric of reality as you perceive it consists of man-made and biological constructs. And if you're lucky, you may be acquitted of some of this construct burden to begin to imagine new potential realities... or don't. It's up to you. This is the most important decision you may have never made, but at this moment, you have the ability to consciously make that decision. So choose. And rightfully, you may ask what I have chosen. The more I grasp toward existence, nothingness, and the unknowns that lie between us and the places we don't even know we want to go yet, the more intangible it all feels. All we can know is that there is existence, and we are part of it. We drive ourselves toward futures which inherently do not yet exist. We could spend eternity wresting with the fears of the infinite unknown, or... we can probe scientifically into the unknown to pull out truths, truths which we can use to more deliberately design our individual and collective realities. In this way, the unknown is both immensely overwhelming and immeasurably motivating. Because if we knew everything, what would be left to explore and discover? The fact that there are unknowns out there begs us to hunt them down, something our human ingenuity excels at. Our era of explorers is no longer of the Earth, but of the self, knowledge, and the universe, all combined into one grand metaphysical endeavor. If you feel unsatiated, then maybe this is the adventure you were waiting for, this eternal adversary of the unknown. To glean new truths, we must build tools to help us peer deeper into the nature of reality, because our human perception of the universe is limited to the biological engineered state we find ourselves in at this point of evolution. Let's find out together how much an entity with a system (a human being within a universe) can understand about that system. Let's build more tools and ask more of the right questions to start understanding what it is we're doing here. That's what I'll be doing. But that's only a broad vision, not a tangible goal to aim toward. With so many unknowns out there that the truth seekers are desperate to discover, I find myself compelled to forge a path for others to either follow or to benefit from. The direction of truth I seek is that of maximizing the indefinite span of life into the universe, and if we're lucky, maybe beyond. From this point on, I have made the pursuit of indefinite life my highest priority. I've created Lifetimes Infinity to safeguard and extend life in space and time so that we may all pursue truths indefinitely. This is our vision, and while it doesn't have to be yours, we would love to have you along on this journey. We ask that you join us if you dare to unwaveringly pursue this goal of indefinite life for any period of time. We ask that you watch along if you wish to find wonder and inspiration in the universe and in our endeavors here. But above all else, we beg that you relentlessly pursue whatever truths are most haunting to you. Comfort never brought us growth; it's the adversity that compels us to dredge meaning out of the abyss. So lean into the discomfort, and I promise you will find enough fuel and enthusiasm to journey yourself (and others) deep into the realms of the unknown to bring back truths for the rest of us to build upon. And don't mind anyone who doesn't understand your journey; they only mock you for stepping into the domains of their illusory fears. Find your own disillusion, and never let go. As we pursue this together, as a unified universal endeavor, we at Lifetimes Infinity will do our best to bring about the most interesting of futures we are able to dream up. And if we should falter, call us out; help us out! That's the beauty of truth; anyone can find it, and we all can benefit from it. We are all fallible; all that we can do as individuals is try to align ourselves more to truth as we grow.
